Hello lovely ladies, how are you all today?  Sunshine and Clarrisa really hope your colds are on the mend, sounds like the same one himself has poor love, its been a nasty one this time.

Just the got the food shopping today, you know me in and out quickly before the crowds start appearing.

Really can't believe how quickly Friday has come around again, I really must get my bottom in to gear next week and start preparing for Christmas.  Really do wish I could be as organised as some of you and get started early, but unfortunately I'm a last minute person.

The fireworks didn't stop until gone 11pm last night, poor Andy had his legs crossed, no doubt we are in for some more tonight and tomorrow night.  Said cat is curled up on a pile of washing I didn't get done yesterday looking very cute after having his breakfast.

Right must get on, hugs for now and I'll catch up with you all later.

Morning Pat and hope you are well today.  It's Friday - yippee!!!  Even though it's our quiet time at work now, I've still had loads to do.  Hair cut after work tonight - can't wait!  Either that or it will be a bag over my head!!!  Looks to be the usual dull miserable morning here, so it will be my warmer coat today I think.

Enjoy your shopping Pat - I can imagine you whizzing around and then out quick!

Hope Sunshine & Clarissa will soon be feeling much better.  And hugs to anyone else who's not feeling too well.

Hope you all have a good Friday. xxxx

Hello everyone

Pat - your shopping sounds like mine.  Get up early on a Saturday off to Tescos and into town to the bank etc and get home again before all the crowds arrive.

Catherine - Glad your work load has slowed down - wish mine had.

Pond - Enjoy your day

It looks OK outside at the moment and I have 2 bags of plastic bottles lurking in the under stairs cupboard so I think I will take a stroll down to the recycling bins at the other end of the village.  Could do with a walk and a bit of fresh air.

Then it will be off to work.  2nd episode of Sppoks tonight (I can't wait until next Wednesday).

Have a good day everyone

Hi ladies, hope everyone who is feeling under the weather improves today. We  have sneezed for two days. Gerrie, keep posting, we want to hear from you. We all have our off days and I don't post if I am feeling miserable as I don't want to inflict misery on everyone.

Here at Far End, the weather is dull but dry. We had a walk and a cheap pub meal yesterday as OH has a half day off. He has about thirty days to take before the end of Jan. Ember Inns supplied a wonderful chicken and bacon salad and fish and ships for £8 if one ate before 5pm. Well worth trying ladies.

I have got rid of my parents from hell so the teaching is pleasant at the moment.

We have to tidy the garage because the cars have to be moved in ther from  the old garage as at last Oh is planning the extension and will have to have the planners round. We have saved up part of the first instalment despite the bankers saying no.Sod them!

We had good news as our local football team called us to say we were a local business recommended by their supporters so we are going to link a new website into their site. We are expanding despite the recession so there is hope for anyone out there who has lost their jobs. The market is turning slowly.

Have a great day girls.

Good morning everybody is very cold outside this morning. 0/H not to well he is going to phone the doctors soon to see if somebody will  see him. It was quite noisy here last night some really loud bangs, just tried to keep the dogs occupied. Hope your colds get better soon Pat, Clarrisa & Sunshine. Will hardly be out to-day. Hope everybody has a good day.

I read your post about losing Andy Pat! Bet he was sitting snug upstairs wondering why you were outside calling him! I cant believe its Friday either!  We had hardly any fireworks maybe they are waiting for weekend.

Pond hope you dont get the dreaded cold, writing cards, you are so organised I still havent made any! The stuff is sitting here making the place look untidy!

Catherine you are looking after yourself, waxing, now a hair do, you work hard so its great to be able to treat yourself

Cotty will you send me inspiration to get out and walk please?

Kixley so pleased to hear your extension plans look as if they are going ahead, well done for not giving up.

We are off to collect small cheeky one this morning then back to play with felt pens and play dough, read books and generally have fun, I hope!!!

Hope you all have a good day and  Hi to all who post after me.

Good Morning Ladies,

Pat, I hope you don't get held up with your shopping today, I expect Andy will have his legs crossed for the next 3 days(bless him) if your fireworks are like these here.

Pond, I do hope you keep your cold at bay, there are so many nasty bugs about again. Enjoy doing your cards if you get around to them.

Catherine I hope you have a good day at work even when it isn't really busy there is always something to do isn't there.

Cotty, enjoy your stroll thro' the village, you can take our recycling if you like, I will send it on the magic carpet lol. Have a good day at work.

Hi Kixley, you are going to be at sixes and sevens if you are going ahead with your extension, but how lovely. How many extra rooms will it give you?

Well I am up with the lark and have already lined in a pair of curtains, and have also got some armcaps to do today.I have been having trouble sleeping and have been up working of late at about 4.30/5am...(even before OH gets up and that is unheard of.)

I am pleased they have called off the strike, but we are wondering what they have in store for the men after the Christmas rush, anyway at least it means we can go ahead with Christmas, and not worry about the flat any more for the time being.

Work seems to have really shot off the scale at the moment as now everybody wants there soft furnishings for Xmas, and I thought there was a recession on!!

Have a lovely day Ladies, to all who have colds and flu, I hope you feel well soon, and to all who post after me, I hope you are well and have a good day too. xx

           Hugs to all Cathy xx
