Hi girls, you know how I love christmas, well I am slowly sorting out all the pressies I have already brought etc Woops this should be red for christmas!!!!

Well I have already strung up some fairy lights up in my kitchen, on dark mornings and evenings it looks so cosy and welcoming!!!

Whilst away I brought individual chocolates in the shape of Stars, snowmen, stockings etc and I am going to hang these on a metal photo frame that my Aunty brought me. One of those frames that is more like a sculpture and you slot the photos into the frame.

My christmas cupboard is bulging!!

I am buying bits weekly for the freezer so I have a good stock in for christmas.

How are your preparations coming along girls, I would love to hear xxxx

love and hugs xx

Sunshine, i have bought all pressies for my little men, and 2 of my nieces.

I have several other presents for my kids each.

Still have a lot to buy but getting there!

I have started buying bits of food each week, stuff for the freezer and bits of nibbles etc.

My turkey was bought when our local Somerfields closed down at half price, and that is in my mum's big chest freezer.

But as far as decorations go, i haven't even thought about those yet!

What you like with your fairy lights? !lol...

xx

Dear Pond How are you?

You are very organised to xxx I start early but the weeks still race by don't they?

I noticed Tescos have turkeys etc in their freezers!!!! I've stocked up on Quality street and boxes of roses!!!!

Nigella Lawson has fairy lights up in her kitchen a lot of the time!!! I just love them.

Think I'll wait for a few more weeks til I get the tree out though LOL!!!

Sorry Sunshine, I mean to be ultra efficient and start it all early, but just can't get in the mood most of the time, then 2 weeks before the big day it suddenly hits me and I go mad, get into the spirit of it all like a kid at .... well... Christmas. lol but at the moment just don't go there!!

I have bought a tin of chocolates. but hubby has found them in my special hiding place, so they are no longer for Christmas.Frown

I can't buy food early as we have no will power and will eat it and end up as fat as SAnta by the eginning of December.

Son's birthday today, and i like to get that out of the way before even thinking about 25/12. It is on my list of "things to do" and i will give it proper attention in december

Always behave like a duck--keep calm and unruffled on the surface but paddle like the devil underneath.

Happy birthday to your son mum2one, is he having a party?

Here's a song that captures you completely Sunshine

Ï wish it could be Christmas every day

You would be in your element!

My friend's daughter bought a Christmas tree yesterday on sale and when she brought it home her little boy insisted she put it up there and then , so you aren't the only one with the fairy lights flickering in November LOL

All I have done is save up a bit; money on an Adsa savings card, Morrisons saving stamps (I buy a few each time I go there) a tin box full of loose change  that usually has about 50 pounds in it when full.  Plus I have lots of vouchers from prizes I won during the year - all I need now are  ideas for the presents.   Hope to make the christmas cake next week and the mince pies I will do nearer the time otherwise they would only be eaten.
