Thanks for asking yelir, I wish I knew.

I did a running thread round the muzzle part but it's not like the picture on the pattern. Maybe I didn't make the circle big enough?

Is it this pattern you are following Ipi?

Sorry ladies, been trying to catch up with housework today after doing nothing yesterday.

Yes, that's the pattern, easy enough to knit and sew up but don't know where I'm going wrong. Wonder if LC is having the same problem?

Is the muzzle knitted in a separate bit Ipi and then you either pick up the stitches or sew the longer side onto the main part of the head?

Like this? or is it part of the head

Cute and classic

like this?

No Pat, it's the No:2000 pattern. the muzzle is integral to the head.

Looking at this again I think the muzzle is more pointed than the ones you and yelir knit.

Then I apologise for misleading you with the email I sent Ipi suggesting you do a running stitch around the muzzle.  I assumed you were knitting the same one me and Yelir knit with the separate rounder muzzle.

Can you not snip the running stitch and draw it out?

It would be like looking for a needle in a haystack  trying to find the right thread as it's all the same wool.

Much easier just to knit another head and doesn't take very long.

Thanks for trying to help Pat; when I grow up I want to be as good a knitter as you LOL

sorry I offered help then went awol, blame a small person!!

I use 2 different patterns, Pats for the arms and legs and mine for the head and body!! The head had muzzle knitted in with it in the same wool. I usually run a thread round just to emphisise (sp) the muzzle. I do hope you can get it sorted out Ipi, in the end they all look different!!!

Good luck!!
