Have taken sleeping tablet so will be off to bed soon.  Just wanted for be first on today!

My hubby Pete gets his mouth biopsy result on 23rd November so we are a bit anxious but optimistic as it usually comes back all right.  Never the less it would be nice to have some support over the next couple of weeks or so as the waiting is a bit hard.  It is also my birthday on that day.  I will be 42 years young.

I've been ill all week, nasty migraines.  Doctor has given me CoCodamol and it has dulled it a little.  I have been going to bed a lot and as a result missed a few things.

Pete and our two sons have their suits for Jordan and Laura's wedding  (Jordan my step son). They want my James to be a ring bearer.  I have nearly lost a stone in weight so I should be able to get something nice to wear.  I fancy a dress for under my full length grey coat, and MAYBE a hat.  I would rather take a hat than be the only one on the photos with no hat!

I missed seeing my friend, my craft class and helping at the Red Cross shop because of migraines.  However later today I hope to get out to Weight Watchers.  I may have pigged out a bit and not done very well.  On my bathroom scales I went down to nearly a full stone loss but you can vary from day to day can't you.  It's better to weigh yourself at the same time each week.

Got a bit fed up with Oscar the dog this week.  Have been feeling that I took on too much getting a dog.  It's much harder work than I thought, but maybe it's coz I've been ill.  It's getting used to a new routine with a new pet isn't it?

Thanks for reading and have a happy bonfire day and night.  Sending all of you lots of love and hugs

Angelcake. xx

Good morning/evening lovely ladies.  How are you all today?  Sending big hugs for those not feeling too well.

AC you do sound down in the dumps with your migraines, do you get them often or are they a new thing.  Hope your OH gets the all clear on the 23rd.

Just been reading all your news on yesterdays "nice day" post.

Your mum sounds as if she's coming on leaps Cathy, so pleased for you both.

Zelana pleased to hear you had a good stay with your son and had lots of cuddles with the latest addition.

Donna boots are lovely, how's the snow?

Mumsie you keep up the good fight, you're doing so well.

MM hope you are pleased with your hair today.

Bideshi pleased to hear the prang wasn't too bad.

We were supposed to be going to see number 1 son last evening, but himself came home feeling awful with his cold, have to admit he didn't look very good. So I had to phone and cancel.  Number 1 now has "the" cold too.

Himself tried to light the gas fire but couldn't and was about to have a look at it but I told him to leave it, the heating had taken over by then, mind might be a tad cold today, hadn't thought of that lol!

My cold seems to have disappeared, that quite often happens, I think I'm in for a nasty one and then nothing!

Must catch up with the washing today, haven't done a lot all week.  Sandra is popping in for a coffee later this morning, it will be nice to catch up with her.  And thats about it I think.

Hope you all have a lovely day.  Catch up with you all soon.

Good morning Angelcake, Pat, Sunshine and all you lovely Prima ladies! Hugs to all those who are poorly!

Angelcake - migraines can be so debilitating, poor you! Could there be something that you are eating that is triggering them perhaps! Wishing you better! Sending positive thoughts for your OH results on 23rd! Will be thinking of you!

Pat - poor OH sending Get Well thoughts for him and No 1 son! Glad your cold has disappeared! Enjoy your time with Sandra! Know you will :)

Sunshine - hugs honey! Hope that nasty cough eases soon! Enjoy your time with your friend! Thinking of you all with your pets over the next few days with the fireworks! We are so lucky not getting them over here in Cyprus!

I have woken up to sunshine this morning - whoopee! It is supposed to be a nice day today - so fingers crossed! We certainly had plenty of rain in the night!

Off to my craft group this morning - it started off as a knitting group but now virtually anything goes! Knitting, crochet, cross-stitch, embroidery, patchwork and many more! Sometimes we will have a morning doing decoupage or jewellery making - it's great fun! Some just come for a chat - all nationalities and everyone is welcome! So if you are in the area please pop along :) I would love to see you!

We are then we are off to lunch with friends - which will be nice! Hope you all have great days!!

Much love

CASSIE xx

Hi AC; Pat & Sunshine

I wondered why you hadn't been posting recently AC?

You poor thing, you really have been up against it recently, Sounds like the stress of it all has been affecting your health and your weight.  Just take it easy and know that we are all here to support you over the next couple of weeks. The waiting is always the worst part.  I'm sure Oscar will be fine and it's down to the fact that you've been feeling so lousy and he's been under your feet all week.

Look after yourself

Pat, Glad you are able to keep the home fires burning (or not, as the case may be)! ! It sounds like himself as a nasty dose and sorry to hear No. 1 son has it too! I hate it when appliances don't work, hope you get everything sorted today. Enjoy your coffee with Sandra later on.

Sunshine.  Can you see it?  I have just scooped up a handful of the white stuff and sent it across to you via the magic carpet.  Hope it stays with you for the 25th! Sorry to hear you're under the weather as well!  Cough's are the nastiest things as they don't let you have a good night's sleep. Hope it gets better soon.  Have a good day at work then enjoy catching up with your friend.  We don't have the hassle of fireworks here until New Year's Eve.  Remember to keep all the pets indoors as they get really spooked - especially with the bangers.

I was awoken early this morning with the dogs needing out and the sudden drop in temperatures.  Having said that, the sky is now clear and it promises to be a much brighter day!  I have decided to take the dogs for their first walk along by the water early this morning and see if I can get some nice shots of the sunrise.

It's L & C's Halloween party tonight at the school and they were up quite late making last minute adjustments to their outfits!  Feels a bit weird getting them ready for Halloween after the event, but hey, this is Norway!  I will be chauffeur for the evening as they have to be dropped off at 7pm and picked up at 9.30pm.  Have decided to meet my friend, Jinetta, for supper during the time of the party.   Her son, Socrates, is in Craig's class and they are good friends.

I will have to get on as I did loads of washing yesterday and have now put on the final load for today! Didn't get a chance to look at tumble dryers but husband told me not to be too hasty as we haven't had the underfloor heating on for a couple of days and the laundry room might be warm enough to dry the washing.  Mmmm., will have to see.  My O/h is very good at the stalling tactic and accuses me of being too impatient - Moi!!!!

I will catch up with everyone else later on in the day.

There seems to be an awful lot of you suffering from the flu bug!  Big hug to everyone who is feeling under the weather.  I will have to send you across some of Norway's fresh clean air to chase away those nasty bugs!

Catch up with you all later.

p.s. Pat, I was very naughty last night and ordered those boots - glad you like them!

Donna xxx

Hi Cassie,

Our posts crossed.  Glad the weather has improved with you too!  It seems to energise you and make you feel so much brighter in yourself.

Enjoy your craft class this morning.  It sounds like great fun and a great way for all nationalities to meet up and do lunch later on!

Hope you're escaping the nasty flu bugs?

Take care and have a lovely day!

Morning ladies, it is a very cold start to the day here...brrr!!!

AC hope your migraines ease a little, i suffer from them at times and they are just the worse things. Maybe it is all the worry about your OH? Hopefully things will settle when you know his results.

Dogs are very hard work AC, but the love they give back is tremendous...

Pat, you sound as though you are going to be busy today. Enjoy your time with Sandra.

Sunshine, the cough is terrible isnt it? My hubby had it a couple of weeks ago, he resorted in sleeping on the sofa a couple of nights as he was keeping me awake with his coughing! Have you tried honely, lemon and ginger, seeped in boiling water? The honey will soothe your chest.

Cassie enjoy your craft group, it sounds like you have fun.

Donna, enjoy your walk witht he dogs. Hope you manage to get some nice photos. Good to hear you treated yourself to some boots!!

As for me i have some ironing to do today. I have to nip and put some diesel in the car too and post a couple of postcards for competitions i have entered.

I keep getting a funny sweet taste in my throat, not sure what it is, but it is there!

Hope everyone who posts later is ok.

Yelir how is the GOM?

xx
