Good afternoon/evening ladies, how have your days been?  The weather has been lovely and sunny here, if not more than a bit chilly.

My day was pretty much as I expected, mundane person that I am.  Whizzed around the house work and then popped out to meet a friend for coffee.  Had a good long chat, which was nice.

At least I got home to a nice clean house.  Then got some knitting done and had a chat to a couple of friends on MSN, now dinners on , Iranian tonight, so I thought I'd see whats been happening on here today.

Looking forward to hearing your news.

Hi, folks

Had a good, satisfying day today.  Didn't get to take the dog to the park, he kept me company doing the bedrooms instead.  Plasterer came and did his stuff so now we can get on with the preparation for decorating whilst the plaster dries out.  He's done a lovely job and even  one or two bits that we didn't ask for.

Otherwise, not a lot doing today.  I have decided on corned beef hash for dinner.  OH is still on softish stuff because he can't chew very well on account of having a sore neck and a lessening number of teeth.

Hope your cold doesn't develop, Pat and that everyone has enjoyed their days, shopping or whatever.

Have a good evening and sleep and a good morning, everyone.

Going for cut and blow dry tomorrow, then to art class (I'm just a beginner, so nothing worth showing off).

Not bad, thank you Pat. Tom the roofer came round and brought me three crown chimney pots for my cottage garden, and a sweet little statue of a girl in a floaty dress. Must be about £500's worth, but he got them from a house they're demolishing, so good result there.

Son has what I thought was man-flu, but seems to be the real thing, since he didn't want lunch and is still in bed. The prof's been in quite a good mood too.

Having said that, since I wrote that I've managed a slight prang of the car - too many vehicles parked outside, and it's a tight turn at the best of times. Oh well. Better go and confess.

Hi Pat,

Sounds as if you have had a good day. Mine was just the usual, work and a bit of shopping after, just milk and fruit. Meeting friend tonight for a coffee and chat, she had to go to court today after a prang to her car last year and the other person involved disputed that they were in the wrong. She just text me to say she won the case, so thank goodness for that.

love and hugs

How nice to hear of a workman doing good work and more than you asked for MM.  I wont go into the details of our last plasterer!

Ooops Bideshi, who's car have you pranged?  Hope it isn't too bad.  Sorry to hear you have a "poorly" one on board.

Luckily my cold seems to have abated for the time being, fingers crossed and touching wood lol!

Himself wont be a happy bunny when he gets home, I had the faux wood burning gas fire on earlier, came into the kitchen to get dinner sorted, went back in the sitting room and the blessed thing has gone out!  Can't imagine what's wrong with it but I can't get the pilot to re-light.  Only had it put in last year, just passed the guarantee date now.  Hope its fixable or it will be my fault.

Had nice day with my daughter, I have not been out with her for a good while. Yhe weather was terrible but Clydebank Shopping Centre is mostly enclosed. She was pleased with her present also the card I made her. She is getting me some of my Promarke Pens for Christmas. I came home to find some post the only one I got was a reminder that the dogs had to be wormed. I got my 0/H some bits and pieces for Christmas.

Went to my friends for coffee this morning after all. She has ongoing health problems but never complains and some days are better than others.

After lunch I caught up on some emails and a few phone calls. Did chops, new potatoes and peas for supper as we were both feeling really hungry tonight - must be the colder weather.

Hope your son isn't suffering too much Bideshi and you don't have to run up and down the stairs looking after him - men seem to like lots of attention when they are  ill.  Hope the damage to the car/cars is minimal and can be shrugged off.

Just a few more weeks till the op Magaroo, you'll have everything ship-shape before then.

Does himself have to know you had the fire on earlier Pat? Just ask him to turn it on and see what he says when it won't light LOL
