Come on, you know you have one! When I was working on Good Housekeeping we had a brilliant thread on this - it was such fun to read through. I remember someone loving cleaning around taps with a tooth

Come on, you know you have one! When I was working on Good Housekeeping we had a brilliant thread on this - it was such fun to read through. I remember someone loving cleaning around taps with a toothbrush, I loved running a damp cloth over light switches and sockets, What does it for you?

lol Carol, I've been sitting here for 10 minutes and I just can't think of one!

10 minutes of deep though later

Nope, nothing is coming to mind.  I like it when I've finished and everywhere is clean and tidy again, but really can't think of something I actually enjoy.

Ok, i am going to sound very sad here. I love cleaning the filter on my hairdryer.

And I have a bit of a mop fetish, it is my dream to find the perfect mop, and i have to buy every new one on the market. I even have one that can only get replacement heads shipped over from America!

And I love the satisfaction of pulling all the chairs and sofas out and cleaning behind them. All those bits of fluff that thought they had escaped me consigned to the hoover bag.

But i think my favourite job of all is washing the kitchen floor. It is the very last job of a full day cleaning and i have a beer on the patio afterwards as a reward. :-)

Always behave like a duck--keep calm and unruffled on the surface but paddle like the devil underneath.

This is going to sound very lazy but my favourite chore is switching on the dishwasher and it's all downhill from there on .............................. I think Kim and Aggie need their bumps feeling.

I am not as green as I am cabbage looking .......

mum2one you are so funny! I love it! I do sometimes hear women talking about cleaning in the same way that teenagers talk about sex. Covert, Guilty. Sated!! And yeah, FlibGib I absolutely love putting that dishwasher on. It was once suggested to me that for eco reasons I should put it on less. Forget it. I'd rather give up my car!

Getting rid of the crusty sweat stains on my husband's cotton shirts. Nightmare, suddenly they appear and until recently nothing worked, including soaking in vinegar!   In pure frustration I used a general kitchen/bathroom descaler and low and behold it worked like a charm.   In my enthusiasm I told some friends  and soon discovered that I had not been alone in trying to tackle the problem and now instead of throwing the shirts, tshirts, jumpers away I use the kitchen/bathroom descaler, give it a good rub and then wash as normal.     Nothing has lost its colour or texture, only the grot.
